On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream.

In this Tony Award-winning comedy, a self-styled playboy, Bernard, has Italian, German and American fiancées, each beautiful airline hostesses with frequent “layovers.” He keeps “one up, one down and one pending” until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris and Bernard’s apartment at the same time. Written by French playwright Marc Camoletti, Boeing-Boeing premiered in Paris in 1960, where it ran for 19 years and is the most-performed French play in the world. The play was made into a movie starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis, and the 2008 revival became a multiple Tony-award smash Broadway hit.

A down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon "Audrey II" grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite, finally revealing itself to be an alien creature poised for global domination!

Venue and Ticket Information:

This season, the Otterbein Summer Theatre Box Office and all performances will be located in a newly conceived space on the stage of the Fritsche Theatre at Cowan Hall, 30 S. Grove St. Seating units will be constructed on the Fritsche stage to provide an intimate, three-quarter thrust view of the action. The new space will allow for easier entry into the space, better sightlines due to increased height between each row and handrails on every aisle.

Season ticket packages are $64 each and will be available for sale in April. Individual tickets go on sale beginning May 20. Tickets for Almost, Maine and Boeing Boeing are $22 each and tickets for Little Shop of Horrors are $25 each.

Opening night performances begin at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m., and all other performances begin at 8 p.m.

The Otterbein Summer Theatre Box Office will officially open on May 20. Box Office hours will be Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and one hour prior to all performances.
