Kate Weale, athletic trainer at London High School, keeps student-athletes safe.

Dave Dziedzicki '10,  current Head Athletic Trainer at Worthington Kilbourne High School received the Prism Award for Compassion for Neighborhood Care at the OhioHealth employee recognition this fall

·         Ohio Athletic Trainer’s Association Special Consideration Award for life saving efforts – MacKenzie Williams '14.

·         Ohio Athletic Trainer’s Association Special Consideration Award for life saving efforts – Abbey Karns 14.

Tiffany Estes, 01 received the 2012 Prism Award for Integrity from her employer, Ohio Health. Tiffany is a Certified Athletic Trainer

Ohio Athletic Trainer’s Association Service Award for 2010. Dr. Joan Rocks

Jenny Ruano and Kevin Gallagher received the 2011-12 Ohio Athletic Trainers Association Outstanding Student Research Award on their research project “Comparison of the Triple Hop for Distance and the Y-Balance Test in Healthy Collegiate Division III Male and Female Athletes”.

Kara Butcher and Matt Cantrell 2012-13 received the Athletic Trainers Exceptional Research Award in the Undergraduate Student Division of the Ohio Athletic Trainers Association for their poster presentation “Peroneal Nerve Entrapment and a Soleus Strain”

Internship Supervisor of the Year 2013-14

Congratulations to our very own Certified Athletic Trainer Joe Wilkins for being named the Center for Career and Professional Development's - Internship Supervisor of the Year! Joe was recognized yesterday at CCPD's Peer to Peer Internship event. Great job, Joe!

Certified Health Education Specialists

Congratulations to Sheronda Whitner '12, Belinda Nelson '12 and Jacqueline Arthur '13, who haven taken and passed the CHES exam making them Certified Health Education Specialists.  This is a 100% pass rate for our department.
