The Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique, also known as the IF-AT, uses multiple-choice questions and a system of scratch-off answer forms (like lottery tickets) to document student responses and collect feedback in the classroom. IF-AT forms can be used for individual assessments or with groups of students in Team-Based Learning
or similar activities. See the Epstein Educational Enterprises
Web site for more information.
The Center for Teaching and Learning has IF-AT forms on-hand for faculty to use in their classes. Contact the CTL (CTL@otterbein.edu | 614-823-1035) to request a set.
