Allied Health Major (B.S. and B.A.)

Athletic Training Major (B.S. and B.A.)
This program is designed to qualify you to site for the Board of certification (BOC) National Exam and prepare you for post-graduate careers. Learn more.
Health Education Major
Within the Health Education major, students may choose to pursue a Public Health concentration or to seek Multi-Age (pre K-12) teacher licensure. Either concentration will prepare students to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam. Learn more.
Health Promotion and Fitness Major
This program prepares you to work in fields related to health and fitness, exercise science, nutrition, and lifestyle management and or to continue to a graduate program of study. You will work in a hands-on environment as a sophomore through a 75-hour practicum experience followed by a minimum of 300 practical hours as a senior in an internship setting. Learn more.

Physical Education Major
The course of study in Physical Education may lead to the special licensure for teaching physical education in the public schools. Students not interested in licensure may complete the Physical Education major course of study or consider related fields and careers and review the programs in Sport Management and/or Health Promotion and Fitness.
