    Dr. Maul received his PhD from Penn State University in the area of manufacturing. He has over 49 years of experience in engineering including working as an engineer for General Motors and Nestle R&D, and as a professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University for 28 of those years. His research has been in the areas of plastic injection molding, parts orientation and feeding, and machine guarding. He is the author of journal articles and conference papers, has been granted patents, and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Ohio.

Industrial Advisory Board

The Industrial Advisory Board is a group of engineers, managers and entrepreneurs, who have agreed to serve as advisors to the faculty in the development of the Systems Engineering program at Otterbein.  The goal of this collaborative effort is to ensure the development of a program that is “relevant’ to industry and produces students with the skills and education that industry needs.
