Otterbein University Summer Breeze

Beginning on Friday,
June 15 

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Join the Theatre Talk Back onstage at  Cowan Hall where the director and staff of Oklahoma! will give you a behind the scenes glimpse of the production later that evening!

Stroll Uptown Westerville at your leisure.  Have lunch, visit the new shops and restaurants--a far cry from Brownie's and Friendlys!

5 p.m.  Kickoff the weekend at the Old Bag of Nails and get reacquainted with your peeps!  Appetizers provided,  Cash bar.

8 p.m. Summer Theatre presents:  Oklahoma!  Tickets $25 each.

Continue the fun on Saturday, June 16

9 a.m. - Noon Visit the new Farmer's Market on Grove Street between Home and Park Streets.

10 a.m.  Experience The Point,  take a tour, participate in the Maker's Space, and depart with a memento of the experience. Also at The Point, take the opportunity to record your '70s memories, hi-jinx or wisdom for posterity with Stephen Grinch, archivist,and keeper of Cardinal Tales.

Noon Enjoy a catered lunch on Towers Plaza.

1:15 - 3 p.m. Tour campus, led by Stephen Grinch, including some secret spaces like Towers bell tower and stadium press box or join Beth Weinhardt, local historian, on a walking Temperance Row tour, including Otterbein Cemetery and Mausoleum.  

3 p.m. Rub elbows once again with retired faculty, staff and coaches from the '70s at the Ice Cream Social in the O Club Room.

6 p.m. The highlight of the weekend, Saturday Night Fever, returns to the newly remodeled Embassy Suites Hotel for dinner, dancing, trivia and laughs.  Bring your dancing shoes and '70s outfits for a blast from the past!

Waving goodbye on Sunday, June 17

10:15 a.m. Coffee and donuts in the Otterbein Chapel, followed by  11 a.m. worship at Church of the Master on this Father's Day.
