Head Start - Grace McDaniel

Abstract:
The Head Start Project is a continual project. Ten Otterbein Students will collaborate with center directors, teachers, parents/guardians, and students to plan and implement a Healthy Living Curriculum Night. The students will work spend 10 hours at the Head Start Center engaging with students, assessing the needs of families, and implementing a Healthy Living Curriculum Night. The Otterbein students will help the Head Start students share important information about Healthy Living with their families. All of the activities will support the Ohio Content Standards. This project will service approximately 80 low-income students.
