Fitness Classes

From pilates to cardio bootcamp to yoga, we offer a variety of fitness classes to help you burn extra calories and change up your typical treadmill routine. Our classes are free to all students, faculty and staff. No registration is required, so join us any time!

Wednesday 5:15-6:00 Circuit Training in Clements Center Cardio Area
Wednesday 7:15-8:00 Beach Body Boot Camp in the Rike Dance Room

Thursday 5:15-6:00 Core & More in the Rike Dance Room
Thursday 7-8 pm Zumba in the Rike Dance Room
Zumba (Monday-Adrianne, Thursday-Emily): Join this high energy workout based on Latin dance moves and you will have tons of fun while getting in shape!
Circuit Training (Stephanie/David): This class will focus on use of the Cybex machines in the Clements Recreation Center to take you through a time-efficient workout.
Beach Body Boot Camp (Kailee): Get your body ready for the beach with this circuit class that combines weights and cardio for optimal results.
Yoga (Kailee): Explore a variety of poses designed to improve balance, flexibility, and strength. Relieve muscle tension and stress using your mind, body, and breath. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels.
Pilates (Michelle): Strengthen your core through traditional Pilates exercises while also improving flexibility and body awareness. Please bring a mat (or use one of ours) and wear comfortable clothing.
Core & More (Michelle): This class focuses on strength and stability for the abdominal and back muscles as well as incorporating strengthening exercises for the rest of the body. Appropriate for all fitness levels.
All classes are free for students, faculty and staff and are held in the Dance Room in the Rike Center.

Otterbein is located adjacent to the 23 mile Westerville bikeway/leisure path. See the City of Westerville site for more details.
The Westerville Community Center is a 96,600 square foot facility which offers a leisure pool with water slides and a lazy river; an 8-lane lap pool; walking/running track; gymnasium; fitness room; and an indoor climbing wall.
