Group Fitness Class

From pilates to cardio bootcamp to yoga, we offer a variety of fitness classes to help you burn extra calories and change up your typical treadmill routine. Our classes are free to all students, faculty and staff. No registration is required, so join us any time!

All classes are held in the Rike Center Fitness Studio from January 9-April 12, 2017

Barre (Michelle): A combination of ballet and dance technique, yoga poses, functional strength exercises, and cardiovascular training. Participants will improve posture, mobility and flexibility, stability and balance, cardiovascular function, and muscular endurance.

Boot Camp Express (Vinnie):
A 30-minute class designed to maximize calorie burn using cardio and strength moves and a variety of equipment.

Cardio & Core (Kirstin): A circuit class combining quick bursts of cardio with exercises to work your entire core. Circuits designed to get your heart rate up while strengthening your mid-section.

Step & Sculpt (Kirstin): Simple, heart-pumping step aerobics routines combine with strength training intervals to give you a complete cardio and weight workout.

Total Body (Kirstin): This class uses a variety of equipment to train all the major muscles to improve both muscular strength and endurance.

Yoga (Katie-Monday, Kirstin-Wednesday): Improve your flexibility, decrease stress, and increase strength. Mats are provided but you can bring your own.

The Westerville Community Center 
is a 96,600 square foot facility which offers a leisure pool with water slides and a lazy river; an 8-lane lap pool; walking/running track; gymnasium; fitness room; and an indoor climbing wall.
