Religious Organizations

Religious Life Council
The Religious Life Council (RLC) is the supervisory supporting and coordinating body for all religious activities and programs at Otterbein. As an inclusive and ecumenical body, the Council invites people of various religious traditions and heritages to gather together in this common ministry. RLC's membership consists of representatives from each of the religious organizations on campus, and members-at-large (i.e., anyone interested in being a part of planning religious activities). RLC sponsors a variety of experiences and events throughout the year including special worship services, weekend retreats, participation in the Franklin County Crop Walk, Campus Sharing Day, and several opportunities for discussion, Bible study and spiritual enrichment.

Otterbein Christian Fellowship (OCF)
Otterbein Christian Fellowship (OCF) is a fusion of God and friends. It is non-denominational Christian organization that meets every Thursday at 8pm in the Church of the Master (24 N. Grove St-across from Towers). Beyond that, we hang out after OCF on Thursdays, and typically during the weekends. We have multiple Bible studies that meet throughout the week and other opportunities for you to get connected and grow in your faith or just learn more about your spiritual life. Everyone is welcome to OCF.

Blessed Pope John Paul II Society
Blessed Pope John Paul II Society is a Roman Catholic student group on the campus of Otterbein University. We strive to live and spread the message of Jesus Christ. Pope John Paul II exemplified this message throughout his life in a very powerful way. Through his example he moved many young people to this same life of self-sacrifice and service to God. We offer Holy Mass every Sunday at 7 p.m. in the Campus Chapel while class is in session. We hold an annual retreat weekend aimed at awakening our faith in Jesus Christ. This year’s retreat will be held from April 27-29, 2012. We also participate in Bible study which takes place Sundays at 6:15 p.m. in the Campus Chapel before Mass. In addition we participate in mission trips to serve the poor. For more information and to register for the retreat check out our web site at www.jp2society.com.

Gospel Choir
The Otterbein Gospel Choir is a non-denominational choir composed of students from many different backgrounds. Students join this choir to be spiritually uplifted, enjoy spiritual fulfillment, develop friendships, and have "extreme fun". Rehearsals are Wednesday's in the Chapel at 7:30 p.m. The choir fills engagements both on and off campus.
