Cardinal Science Scholar Award
Students majoring in Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Physics, and Pre-Engineering at Otterbein are welcome to apply for this new $6000 award offered to students entering fall of 2012. Read more here.
Admission Procedures at Otterbein
Otterbein accepts students on a rolling admission basis. Students will be notified of a decision within 1-2 weeks of their application file being complete.
- Recommended application deadline is January 15th for priority program and award consideration.
- A completed application file includes admission application, official high school transcript, ACT/SAT test scores, and a recommendation form.
- Otterbein uses superscoring for admission purposes until the priority deadline of January 15.
- There are special admission procedures for Theatre, Music, Art, and Nursing.

Battelle Scholarship recommendation form
Guidance counselors can download this form for students who have been nominated for Otterbein's half-tuition Battelle Award here. As a Guidance Counselor, If you wish to nominate a student for this award, please see this link for further details and deadline.
International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement information
