As a high school guidance counselor, you play a major role in helping your students realize their college dreams and potential. We’ve gathered important information that can help you help your students successfully apply to Otterbein.


Priority Application Deadline is Dec. 15
Encourage your students to apply to Otterbein University by this date for priority application status for scholarships. This is also the priority application date for the Honors Program.

Otterbein Offers New Systems Engineering Major Beginning Fall 2015
Otterbein’s major in systems engineering offers a broad-based, interdisciplinary approach to engineering education with the added benefits of personal attention in a small campus setting just minutes from a major metropolitan area. Learn more on our Systems Engineering site.

Otterbein, Ohio University Partner to Offer Pre-Osteopathic Medicine Early Assurance Program at Otterbein
Otterbein is partnering with the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine to attract highly talented high school students into an Early Assurance Program aimed at increasing the pipeline of primary care physicians practicing in Ohio. The new program will begin with students entering Otterbein in the fall of 2014. Learn more on our Pre-Osteopathic Medicine site.

Otterbein Nearing Completion on New Turf & Track

This fall, Otterbein will complete it's new, $2.1 million turf and track project. The new artificial field turf at Dwight C. Ballenger Field and a brand new track surface on the McVay Track will culminate a decade of renovations to Memorial Stadium. Learn more about the project here and here.
