• When should we plan to arrive?

  We have tons of events planned just for you. You can arrive on Friday evening and begin enjoying the events for the weekend. However, for those families that cannot join us on Friday, registration continues on Saturday morning. 

• Do I have to stay for the whole weekend? What if I can only come for Saturday?

  How long you stay is up to you. There are a number of events planned for Saturday and the weekend culminates with the Worship Celebration on Sunday morning, so you will still have the opportunity to take part in plenty of activities.

• What does the fee include?

  The registration fee includes the evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday night, supplies for the Taste of Otterbein sessions, football tickets, tailgate lunch, and much more!

• Where can we stay in the area? Which hotels are closest?

  For your convenience, a list of local hotel is posted on our website click here. When calling to reserve your room, please be sure to mention that you are with Otterbein University because many offer a variety of discounts. Many hotels fill quickly, so we encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible.

• Can my student’s sibling or younger family member stay in the residence hall?

  Yes, however if the guest is over the age of 8 they will need to stay with an individual of the same sex. Additionally, parents will need to sign a waiver and emergency release for the individual staying in the residence hall.

• What if I want to take my student to dinner off campus?

  We have actually included this time in our schedule for the weekend. There are a variety of local restaurants in Uptown Westerville as well as the Polaris area. When you arrive we will have a list of recommended locations as well as those offering specials for the weekend.

• Where can we park on campus?

  When you arrive on campus you will register in the Campus Center, so the best place to park initially would be the parking lots located directly west or east of the Campus Center. If needed, we will provide you with a dash pass for the weekend for you to park closer to your student’s residence hall.

• We have a family member in a wheelchair. Can we get around to all of the events?

  All events are held in handicapped-accessible areas and buildings. Also, we will gladly assist you in getting to the variety of events. Please notify us of your need prior to arrival or at registration and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
