Provides for the repayment of educational loans for NP students made in exchange for a commitment to work in a medically underserved area. Applications available for fall, deadlines approximately March. Need to be in last year of program.
- National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program: www.bphc.hrsa.gov/nhsc or 1-800-638-0824. Applications available in fall, deadline usually in March. Provides scholarship and stipend for NP students, work in NHSC site for specified period of time after graduation.
