Current Students

Students returning to the halls as upperclassmen have the opportunity to live with roommate(s) of their own choosing and may choose between traditional residence halls, suite-style halls and/or theme houses. Juniors and seniors are eligible to live in the Commons apartments, featuring individual bedrooms and offering more independent living with all the amenities of on-campus housing.
Otterbein has the following types of accommodations for upperclass students:
- Traditional residence halls
Each residence hall is unique, and some feature single rooms, triples, and quads. Students may select a Super-Single room, if one is available. All halls have computer labs, lounges, phone and internet connections and free basic cable in each room. Traditional halls are composed of predominantly first year students and some upperclassmen, who select to live there during spring housing selection. - Suite-style residence halls
Suite-style halls are open to upperclassmen, who choose to live there during spring housing selection. - The Commons Apartments
Junior and senior students may apply to live in these fully furnished apartments with 1-1/2 bathrooms and 2 to 4 bedrooms. - Theme Houses
Beginning their sophomore year, students may live in these residential houses for students with a common goal.
After their sophomore year, students may live off campus. See Off-Campus Living.
