What Can I Do With a Major in . . . ?
Once you have carefully assessed your interests, skills, and values,
the next step is to discover what professions might best suit you. Career
exploration does not entail making one, unalterable decision, but is
instead a process that will open up several possible pathways. Library
research is perhaps the best place to start. The Career Center library
has books, directories, and pamphlets that range from general overviews
to detailed accounts of hundreds of professions. It is a good idea to
consult a Career Center staff member who can show you where to find
information most appropriate for your particular situation.
