Sarah's Corner
The 1956 Otterbein University 50th Reunion Committee has established
a fund in memory of Sarah Gorsuch. Sarah Rose (Skaates) Gorsuch graduated
from Otterbein in 1956; she was a former Blendon Middle School teacher.
Sarah was a children's author and published articles in Highlights
for Children and Jack and Jill. Sarah's love of words,
writing, and children, were the impetus for creating Sarah's Corner,
the new name for the Courtright Memorial Library's children's collection.
Money raised will be used to improve the collection, including the purchase
of :
- New books and materials for the collection,
- Lower "children-sized" shelving units,
- Comfortable furniture, and
- Artwork and posters appealing to children.

Sarah's Corner in the memo section of your check.
Fund a "Book"
Fund a "Book" is an ongoing library fund raising project
to help supplement the library materials budget. You have the opportunity
to fund the purchase of a book, video, or other type of material for
the Courtright Memorial Library at Otterbein University. To do so, please
provide the information requested on the attached
form. The minimum donation is
$25.00.
