JVC Mini DV Camcorder
The JVC camcorder's can be used as a digital camcorder or a digital camera. It will come with a USB cable, AV cable, firewire cable, and memory card. It can be used with a tv or computer. Recordings can be burned to a dvd if you have a dvd recorder, or can be transferred to a standard VHS tape with a VCR, which the library has avilable to the public. Recordings can also be transfered digitally in the lower-level computer lab at the library. The camcorder requires a mini digital video cassette, which can be purchased at many stores or at the library for $7.00.
The loan period is 24 hours, and it cannot be renewed. This camcorder can be picked up and returned to the Circulation desk. There are 6 camcorders available on a first come, first serve basis.
