OPAL and OhioLINK borrowing of books is much faster. Instead of 1-2 weeks for you to receive your requested materials, it will arrive in 2-3 days. It is also more economical for us.
Before you submit your Interlibrary loan request, please check OPAL and OhioLINK
We will not process your request if the items are available through OPAL or OhioLINK.
If you can't find what you need in OPAL or OhioLINK, please choose one of the following options:

You do not need to check OPAL or OhioLINK for journal and magazine article requests. You can request journal articles through the ILL Request Form: Journal and Magazine Articles. Not all materials will be available through interlibrary loan. If we are unable to fill your request you will be notified by e-mail or phone.
Please provide complete, accurate citations, without abbreviations. The source of your citation ("Cited in:" ) is used to verify the accuracy of the citation and to suggest possible sources for acquiring the item. If this is not included, we may have to contact you if we need further information. If your requests are not complete, they may be canceled. Please contact the Reference Department for help in completing citations or to check relevant databases.
