Pack of Dogs Unleashed in the Library

New student art is on display in the library. Created for the Art 115 class, Design 3D, thirty-two wire dogs can be seen on the first floor of the library.

Besides these wire sculptures, new student paintings and drawings will be coming soon. If you are interested, student art may be available for purchase, although price and availability is dependent upon each artist. Contact Allen Reichert (preichert@otterbein.edu ) if you are interested. So come to the library to see fine art created by students of Otterbein College.

New Database - Women and Social Movements in the United States 1600-2000

Organized around 59 document projects with over 1600 primary documents, a dictionary of social movements and organizations; a Teacher's Corner with lesson ideas and document-based questions related to the website's document projects; and a bibliography of citations pertaining to women and social movements, the Women and Social Movements database offers new ways for students, teachers, and scholars to study American History.

To access the database, go to the library web site under Find Articles, Research Databases by Subject or by Title.

Thinking About Marketing Your Organization? Think About the Library

The library is looking for interesting materials to display that relate to campus organizations or the curriculum in our first floor display cases. Time slots are available from September to December 2005. Call x1366 if you are interested.

We are now planning a summer display of faculty scholarship from 2003, 2004 and 2005 -- books or journal articles or creative work that will fit into the display cases. If you would be willing to lend us a copy of your article or book, please contact Patricia Rothermich x1366 to make arrangements.
