Accuracy...
Who "published" the information?
What is the source of this information? Are there references or a bibliography to check?
Is the website an official page from a particular organization? Watch out for pages created by individuals not associated with an organization, university or college.
Was the material published by a vanity press (the author paid for its publishing) or by a commercial publisher?
Check any facts in more than one source. Are the facts accurate? Are the facts plagiarized or quoted out of context?
Is the information free of grammatical or spelling errors? Does the language used indicate the statements are factual versus opinion and rumor, or even humor?
Bullseye!
