Mission Statement The mission of the Office of Ethnic Diversity at Otterbein College (OED) is to meet academic, cultural and social needs of students of color, while fostering a diverse and inclusive campus community.

Goals of the Office of Ethnic Diversity

  • To support the overall mission of the College.
  • To assist the college in the recruitment and retention of students of color.
  • To implement campus-wide diversity initiatives and programs that will promote cultural understanding, appreciation and awareness.

DESIRE Diversity Conference
Saturday, April 12th, 9:00am-4:00pm, Campus Center
Registration Fee: $3.00 (Otterbein Campus Community)

The campus community is invited to participater in this year's DESIRE Diversity conference.  The conference will have a variety of topics related to race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic, mental illness, mulitple identities, body image and much more.  Registration is $3.00 per person.  If you are interested in attending the conference please register here.  To see an outline of conference schedule please click here.
