Volunteerism

Service Projects, Volunteer Opportunities and Social Concerns
Our campus ministry and the Chaplain's Office work cooperatively with the Student Affairs Office and the student organization, Leadership in Volunteer Experiences - (L.I.V.E.) to provide a number of opportunities for service to others. These opportunities range from working a shift in a Columbus soup kitchen to building homes for low income families. A wide variety of areas in which to serve are made available. For more information, please see the L.I.V.E. brochure elsewhere in your orientation packet or stop in at the Chaplain's Office.

Through the Crop Walk and the Campus Sharing Day fundraisers and service project, this ministry has combated hunger at the local and global levels, supports the Otterbein Student Emergency Loan fund, a local children's home, and shelters for the homeless in Franklin County.

Thus your campus ministry offers you the chance of not only talking about faith, but of putting that faith into practice through concern and service for others.
