Senior Showcase
Otterbein College will send 11 students to the 9th Annual April Actor Presentation, a combined effort of the Acting and Musical Theatre programs at Otterbein College, the Musical Theatre program at Baldwin-Wallace College, and the Drama Program at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Our students will travel to New York City to audition for more than 150 casting directors and agents, including those from ABC, Bernard-Telsey Casting, and Fox TV. Following the audition, Otterbein seniors will have the opportunity to schedule personal interviews and followup auditions with the various agencies.Since committing to the creation of a venue for our seniors to showcase their talent, many have obtained agency representation, and roles with companies and tours such as the Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Denver Theatre Center, the national tours of Cats, Oliver and Jesus Christ, Superstar, with the soap opera Guiding Light, the television drama Law and Order SVU and the Broadway production of Grease!
