Ben Schwarz, Associate Director, Office of Alumni Relations
I have a BS in Psychology from Heidelberg University, MSE in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas, MBA from Otterbein. I joined the Otterbein Alumni & Family Engagement team in 2019 after working for Otterbein’s Center for Student Involvement for 5 years. In my role in Alumni & Family Engagement, I advise the Young Alumni Board, the Student Alumni Board, Greek Alumni Council, coordinates Homecoming & Family Weekend, and plan regional events.
My favorite thing about Otterbein is the people. There are so many amazing people from world-class faculty and staff to our inspiring students. There is a constant energy on campus from their passion for Otterbein and everything that it creates. It is hard to find another small, liberal arts university that hosts a Presidential debate, a national conference for women’s economic development, and is building innovative partnerships with Fortune 500 corporations in a way that stays true to the mission of the university. The people of Otterbein make that happen and make Otterbein an exciting place to be.
