Intern Housing Accommodations

We offer our participants first-rate accommodations at competitive prices! Participants in our Summer Intern Housing will be housed in one of our suite style residence halls on campus.

Kerr Hall

Opened in the fall of 2008, Kerr Hall, formally known as 25 West Home Street, is home to 192 residents. This residence hall features Jack and Jill style double rooms connected to another double room via a shared bathroom. There is a swipe access elevator connecting the floors with multiple lounges, shared kitchen and laundry room. Kerr Hall is conveniently located close to Uptown Westerville and in close proximity to all amenities on campus.

25 W Home

All rooms are clean, furnished and air-conditioned. Rooms will be furnished with a dresser, extra-long twin bed, desk, chair and closet per person. Most rooms are carpeted. A shared kitchen will be available in the building along with several lounge areas. High speed wired and wireless internet connections will be provided.

All room assignments will be implemented on a first-come, first-served basis to those who register online and pay the $250 deposit.

Note: Room assignments will be fulfilled through the Office of Events and Conferences. All group affiliated participants and individual roommate requests will be implemented based on one’s matriculation date as well as the deposit payment. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any special needs accommodations.

Campus Safety

Our primary goal is to provide a clean, attractive and safe place to reside while you are away from home. Exterior Residence Hall doors are automatically locked 24 hours a day with access granted by an Otterbein University swipe card which will be provided to participants at check-in. Otterbein University has an on-site 24/7 Police Department.

Parking on Campus

Otterbein University and the City of Westerville is a pedestrian friendly area. Parking on campus is included in your Summer Intern Housing rate.

Rules and Regulations

These special housing accommodations are designed to house serious academic students only. We expect all participants to follow all University Policies and Procedures, as well as all State of Ohio Laws. Otterbein University reserves the right to evict students found to be in violation of University policy and/or state law, and your payment(s) may be forfeited.
