David Robertson
Professor
Department of Engineering, Computer Science, & Physics
David Robertson is a theoretical physicist with research interests in elementary particle physics and high performance computing. His recent research has focused on computational tools for precision calculations in quantum field theories. He has also worked on Hamiltonian approaches to strongly interacting field theories, including the light cone formalism, and particle physics phenomenology. He received his PhD from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and held several postdoctoral positions before coming to Otterbein. Dr. Robertson teaches courses throughout the physics curriculum, and also courses in the Honors and Integrative Studies programs. In 2017 he received the Master Teacher of the Year award.
