Professor Erica Van Dop is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health & Sport Sciences and has served as the Master of Science in Allied Health Program Director since Summer 2020. Prior to coming to Otterbein, she worked in the fitness industry for 10 years. Erica honed her skills in Kinesiology at Wheaton College, continued at Purdue University in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and studied Health Behavior at The Ohio State University with a minor in Public Health and Health Promotion. Erica’s passion is exercise science, but she also enjoys trying new fitness trends and being active for recreation. Apart from wellness, she appreciates being outdoors on the water and traveling to the beach or lakes up North with her husband and three children.
