Kristina Escondo, Experts Bureau, Associate Professor of Spanish

Kristina Escondo is currently an associate professor of Spanish. Her research explores the relationship between Latin America and Asia with a focus on Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. In particular, she is interested in questions of women in militant/military roles in anti-colonial revolutions, coloniality of power, decolonializing methodologies, border identities, and transoceanic approaches to Latin America.
