Kyriacos Aristotelous received a B.S. from Iowa State University in 1986, an M.A. from the University of Delaware in 1988, and a Ph.D. in Economics from The Ohio State University in 1993. While at Ohio State, he received the “Undergraduate Economic Society Excellence in Economic Instruction Award” and the “University Graduate Associate Teaching Award.” From 1995 to 1997, Aristotelous taught at the European University of Cyprus and served as a research fellow at its Applied Research Center. He is currently a professor of economics teaching undergraduate courses in macroeconomics, econometrics, economic development, and international economics and a graduate course in managerial economics. He received the “2014-2015 Otterbein’s Exemplary Teaching Award.” Aristotelous’ research interests lie in the areas of applied macroeconomics, international economics, economic development, and environmental economics.
