Matthew Grote

Part-Time Faculty in Chemistry

Professor Grote joined the department in 2012 and teaches laboratory courses in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, as well as courses in the Nursing program. He has worked with Dr. Robin Grote to thoroughly revamp the organic chemistry laboratory sequence, developing a variety of pre-lab lecture materials and laboratory experiments. In 2019 Professor Grote was recognized as an outstanding teacher in a disciplinary setting, in large part due to his work in teaching organic chemistry laboratory.
