I am proud to be a product of a liberal arts education having earned a B.A. from the University of Evansville. My career has been dedicated to working in support of independent higher education. Beginning as a grant writer for my alma mater at the urging of my English professor—Samuel Longmire, I soon migrated to Columbus where I worked for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC). While at OFIC, I continued to assist with proposal development and letter writing while serving as the Campaign Coordinator for their annual campaign. There I staffed more than 400 volunteers and 36 college presidents annually.

Since coming to Otterbein, I have had the honor of serving in a variety of roles including Director of Prospect Research, Director of Annual Giving, and more recently, Executive Director of Advancement Services. In my current role, I oversee updating of all constituent records, gift processing, endowment administration, prospect research, database administration, and report execution. I enjoy helping connect the dots. For me, the thing that makes the work most fulfilling is knowing the difference it makes in enabling the next generation of learners to realize their dreams of a top-notch college education.
