President Kathy Krendl and Erin Bender, executive director of The Point at Otterbein University, were recognized by the Westerville Chamber of Commerce at its 50th anniversary celebration on Jan. 23, 2018.

Krendl was named Business Person of the Year and Bender was named Young Professional of the year. In addition to the awards they received from the Chamber, which Bender noted were made at The Point, Krendl and Bender also were recognized formally by the Ohio Senate, Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Secretary of State John Husted.
