Sustainability is a global issue that many of our students care about, and Otterbein University is doing its part to implement small changes that make a big difference. The Otterbein Nursing Program has had an immense amount of success over the years. Part of their success includes licensure and certification pass rates well above the national average. During spring 2019, for the initial RN licensure, BSN student graduates had a first time pass rate of 95%. Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) master’s program had first time pass rate of 98%. The Columbus Dispatch wrote an article on Sept. 4, 2019, about Otterbein University’s incoming class growing by 22% over last year. Otterbein welcomed an incoming class of 720 students to campus as classes began Aug. 26.
