MakerEDU Summer Symposium
MakerEDU is a summer symposium for educational makerspaces and those who teach making! Join like-minded educators who engage students in hands-on learning.
Learn, share, and experience making starting from where you are. Whether you’re a librarian, gen ed teacher, run a MakerSpace, are an experienced maker or you have no experience with making at all, there is something for everyone. Sessions are driven by the participants. Come build skills and join a cohort network of like-minded educators that will support your work with students.
WHEN: August 3rd & 4th, 8 am to 4 pm (Free lab time available each day until 9 pm.)
WHERE: The Point at Otterbein University (60 Collegeview Road in Westerville, Ohio)
COST: The minimal cost of $75 per participant covers materials and the use of the facility. The MakerEDU planning committee is made up entirely of volunteers.
