Dance 2025: Mary, Victor & the Monster
Posted Jul 25, 2025
Mary, Victor & the Monster examines the delicacy between life and death, creation and destruction. Experience the journey as Mary Shelley births the story of Frankenstein and his Monster. It is a story of the natural and unnatural, evil and pure, love and hatred, and light and darkness. Through dance, the narrative unfolds viscerally and traces the outlines of existence, longing and the remorse of decisions that can’t be undone.
“From the midst of this darkness a sudden light broke in upon me…I alone should be reserved to discover so astonishing a secret…change from life to death and death to life…It became a thing such as even Dante could not have conceived.” – M. Shelley Frankenstein
