Connect with Disability Services!
Disability Services at Otterbein University works closely with qualified students with disabilities and their faculty/staff to ensure equal access to an educational experience and campus life via services, accommodations, and advocacy.
While Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 maintain the legal requirements for accommodations, student success and support drive our practices.
Per Otterbein University policy, facial coverings are mandatory indoors in all common spaces, including classrooms, hallways and stairwells, shared study rooms, and offices. As such, students must be fully masked to use any of the services at the Academic Support Center and when occupying shared Academic Support Center working areas, such as the Math Lab, Writing Center, Testing Office, and Chem Learning Center. Students not wearing a mask will be asked to wear one before they can receive services from the Academic Support Center. If students do not have a mask, one will be provided. Students who refuse to wear a mask will be asked to leave and reported to the university for noncompliance.
The Academic Support Center’s Disability Services is here to support you!
