I am a high school student...

Getting Started

WE ARE excited to have you on campus!

If this is your first visit, please join us for an Otterbein Overview offered daily.

Visits for Seniors

If you are a current high school senior you can take advantage of our Senior Experience, Cardinal Shadow Program and Overnight visits.

The Senior Experience is a good second visit which is personalized to you. Meet with your Admission Counselor, take a campus tour and add on other options such as meetings with faculty, meetings with athletic coaches, or sitting in on class.

The Cardinal Shadow Program allows you to live the life of a Cardinal, without the commitment of the Overnight visit. See what a typical day in the student’s life is like by going to class, hanging out in the residence halls, studying in the library, going to a student organization meeting, eating in the dining hall and whatever else is on the student’s schedule.

Get the full student life experience by scheduling an Overnight visit. Be paired with a student, stay in their room in the Residence Hall and get a taste of life on campus.

Academic Sessions: Meeting with Faculty

If you would like to meet with a certain department, please reference our availability sheet to ensure a faculty member will be free on the day of your visit. Our faculty meetings pair with our morning visit options. The meetings occur at 10:45 AM. If you have any questions regarding availability, please contact 614-823-1500.

Middle School and Elementary Schools

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce our campus to your students at such an early age. Currently, we do not offer guided tours for elementary or middle school groups. We do encourage you to explore campus on your own and observe what life in a university setting is like. If you are interested in self-guided tour, please fill out this form so we can make the arrangements with our staff to greet you.

We would like to encourage students and their parents to visit again during high school for a more personal, detailed visit to campus. At that time you will be given the full tour of campus which includes the parts that are omitted during a group visit.
