Riding Instructor
Department of Equine Science

A native of Ohio, Jennifer grew up riding horses. Having ridden several different disciplines as a child, Jennifer started focusing on dressage at age 12 with her trainer Sharon Ridge of Cincinnati, Ohio.  In 2002, she graduated from Otterbein University Summa Cum Laude with honors with a BS degree in Psychology.

Jennifer has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals and is a current FEI competitor and instructor.  She has had numerous Regional Championship placings Training Level through Grand Prix, top placings at the 2013 US Dressage Finals, and top rankings at the USDF Horse of the Year at multiple levels.  Jennifer participated in the inaugural Dressage Foundation/USDF Young Rider European Education/Training Program (now called the Young Rider Olympic Dream Program).  She is also a USEF “r” judge.   Thanks to a lovely recommendation from the legendary George Morris, Jennifer spent time training in Germany in 2006 at PSI/Hof Kasselmann as a working student.

Jennifer is a firm believer in continuing education for both herself and her clients.  She has worked with such top notch trainers as Silke Rembacz, Michael Barisone, Linda Zang, Robert Dover, Dolly Hannon, Courtney King-Dye, Debbie McDonald, Scott Hassler, and Charlotte Bredahl just to name a few.

Feel free to check Jennifer’s lifetime scores at www.USDF.org under Jennifer Roth (USDF #23099 since there are several Jennifer Roths).

Jennifer assists with the coaching duties of the Dressage team.
