Kristi North



Kristi North is the Executive Administrative Assistant in the Academic Affairs Office and is the first friendly face you see when walking into the office. Each day, she assists in keeping the office running smoothly and the Provost and office members on schedule. She is involved in the leading the planning of large campus events such as Academic Honors Convocation, Vernon Pack Lecture Series, Krendl Lecture Series, Science Lecture Series, and both Fall and Spring Faculty Conferences. Along with Provost Sherman Heckler, she helped to spearhead the planning for a multi-day international conference hosted on Otterbein’s campus in the summer of 2017. In recognition for her work, Kristi was awarded the Marilyn Day/Joanne Van Sant Annual Support Staff Award in 2020. Throughout her professional career, she has taken a “tour” of Higher Education having worked in Residence Life, Undergraduate Admissions, Housing Operations in Student Affairs, Adult and Professional Admissions, and now in Academic Affairs.
