The office of Institutional Research (IR) can support faculty and staff where data, research and/or assessment support is needed to deepen understanding and guide decision making.

Examples of data reporting include: enrollment and census reports, campus demographics, degree program registration, completions, retention and persistence, and more.

Institutional Research reports thousands of data points annually to external agencies.  IR can help you with federal and state government data reporting requirements, reporting to institutional and departmental accrediting agencies, reporting to consortia for benchmarking purposes, and the like.

Several campus research studies are coordinated by the IR office.  We can help you conceptualize your project and execute it in a way that fits into the flow of other survey research projects scheduled on campus. IR also manages the University Qualtrics account (university-wide survey software). Contact IR if you are interested in a Qualtrics account for your surveying needs or desire training on how to use this tool.
