Both Otterbein’s Women’s and Men’s Basketball Teams Advance in NCAA DIII Tournament

In two incredible games tonight, the Otterbein women’s basketball team beat Randolph-Macon (60-45) and the men’s team defeated University of Wisconsin-Platteville (57-52) to advance to the next round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Women’s basketball (23–5) earned the Ohio Athletic Conference’s automatic bid as OAC champions and opened NCAA play in Scranton, Pa. The night was extra special for Head Coach Diana Noles, who secured her 100th career win as the Cardinals defeated Randolph-Macon in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The women will play the second round March 7 at 8:30 PM EST. See the bracket.
Men’s basketball (23–5) earned an at-large bid, finishing second in the OAC and opened NCAA play at the University of Chicago site. The men will play the second round March 7 at 8:10 PM EST. See the bracket.
