Cardinals take flight at Otterbein to start Fall semester

Posted Aug 27, 2019

It’s the first week of the school year for students at Otterbein University, including approximately 720 new students, representing 21 states, six countries and 56 coming to Otterbein from Columbus State Community College.

Last week, new students kicked off their college experience with a week of activities on campus and in the Westerville community, including a day of community service. This week, all students are invited to the First Friday Festival from 3:30-6 p.m. on Aug. 30 inside and outside the Campus Center, 100 W. Home St. This annual tradition closes the first week of classes with activities showcasing Westerville businesses, campus organizations and the variety of ways students can get involved on and off campus.
