Otterbein Summer Chorale to Perform Free Concert

Westerville, OH—The Otterbein Summer Chorale is sure to brighten your summer with a free concert at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, at Church of the Messiah United Methodist, 51 N. State Street. The chorale will perform under the direction of Otterbein University music majors Anna Butler ’18, Abigail Hughes ’19, and Chance Landers ’19, who are advised by Dr. Gayle Walker, director of choral activities. This performance is free and open to the public.

The program will feature works by Mozart, Copland and more, as well as contemporary choral compositions by Jake Runestad and Otterbein’s own Anna Butler. The choir is comprised of over 40 singers of all ages, drawn from the Otterbein community and throughout Columbus. The choir will be joined by Church of the Messiah’s resident organist/pianist John Holsinger.
