Otterbein Volunteers to be Hospital Surge Location

Otterbein University has valued civic engagement and service to community since its founding. In this new day of a global health crisis, Otterbein’s leaders have been reaching out to community partners on ways to help. The University’s close relationship with OhioHealth through its Nursing and Athletic Training programs, as well as its Student Health Clinic, make it an ideal partner for local healthcare providers.

Currently, local healthcare entities are looking for surge locations for hospitals if they become overwhelmed by the heath crisis. Otterbein is volunteering to be one of these locations. Read more from WCMH-NBC4.
