The Point hosts 2019 Columbus Chamber Retail Summit

On Thursday, Aug. 8, the Point at Otterbein University hosted the Columbus Chamber of Commerce’s Retail Summit. The theme for the event this year was “New Meets Next,” focused around emerging trends and topics in retail, technology and hospitality.

For the past 10 years, the Retail Summit has cultivated an environment that offers attendees the opportunity to connect with the most innovative companies in the industry ranging from start-ups, emerging leaders and established veterans. This year’s summit at The Point at allowed panelists to address the most pressing and trending topics in each of their industries.

This year’s Summit featured three trending keynote speakers, 15 breakout sessions dedicated to trending topics, networking opportunities for the over 300 attendees and a complimentary copy of the 2019 Franklin County Retail Report.

The unique facility of The Point at Otterbein University allowed the Retail Summit hosts, attendees and speakers to interact in a collaborative space with writable dry-erase walls, multiple digital screens in breakout session room, smart white boards and a lobby and patio perfect for relaxing between sessions and staying connected with the office.
