The Office of Social Justice and Advocacy hosts many diverse student organizations that support belonging at Otterbein University.

Black Student Union
Originally founded as the African American Student Union, and renamed as the Black Student Union in January 2023, serves to promote unity and cooperation among black students and all students with similar interests and/or backgrounds. Men of Vision
Men of Vision is an organization of Otterbein male student leaders. This organization promotes male leadership within the Otterbein community, recognizing the importance of developing and exchanging views and ideas among college men on campus. The goals are to encourage Otterbein males to become active in leadership roles and service on and off campus, in addition to enhancing and further developing the skills and talents of male student leaders. Sisters United
Sisters United” at Otterbein University is a campus organization dedicated to fostering sisterhood and empowering women. The group provides a supportive community for its members, focusing on personal growth, leadership development, and social awareness. Sisters United often organizes events, workshops, and discussions that address issues relevant to women, such as gender equality, self-esteem, and career development. By promoting unity among women on campus, Sisters United aims to create a positive impact both within the university community and beyond. Muslim Student Association
The Muslim Student Association (MSA) at Otterbein University supports Muslim students by fostering community, educating about Islam, and organizing events like social gatherings and educational seminars. Freezone
Founded in 1992, FreeZone! at Otterbein University supports LGBTQ+ students and allies through regular meetings, social events, advocacy, and special gatherings. It offers a space for support, education, and networking. For more information, Follow @freezone_otterbein!

Heritage of Latino Americans
Heritage of Latino Americans (HOLA) promotes a sense of community and pride among Latino American students at Otterbein. The organization promotes friendship and cooperation among all students and fosters encouragement, academic excellence and cultural appreciation of Latino American students.
