Dr. Chelsea Pasukinis earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Lock Haven University, a Master of Public Health from Lenoir-Rhyne University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Health Sciences with a concentration in Athletic Training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She is a licensed athletic trainer with professional experience spanning both clinical practice and higher education.
Dr. Pasukinis’s research interests include mental health in collegiate athletics, particularly the ability of athletic trainers to recognize crisis situations among student-athletes. She also examines health equity and the application of trauma-informed care within allied health professions. Her work is dedicated to improving the preparedness of health professionals.
