Diane was a middle-grade teacher for 17 years. She now teaches undergraduate and graduate-level courses in middle childhood education and multicultural education. In addition to her passion for teaching, Diane has been traveling to Uganda for the past 15 years with Otterbein students to develop libraries and work with young adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene management, sexual reproductive health, and empowerment. Diane has two sons and four grandsons with whom she loves to spend time.
