Meeting with students and their families. Exploring colleges and universities is an exciting milestone for both students and parents, and I feel honored to be a part of this unforgettable moment in their lives. Nothing makes me happier than families leaving my tour with smiles on their faces, and there is something truly special when you see prospective students visualizing what their next four years will look like at Otterbein.

Why I love my job
Community. Faculty and staff are invested in the educational and personal growth of the students, but the students are equally invested in giving back to Otterbein. Many faculty and staff are also alums of Otterbein, which adds to the family feel on campus. There are so many people on campus that actively support you in your personal and professional goals, encouraging you along the way, and celebrating with you when they are achieved. There is an undeniable synergy generated from this shared vision of community, making Otterbein a special place for all.
