Madison Barton

Dr. Madison Barton currently serves as the Coordinator of Music Programs and Operations for the Otterbein University Department of Music. Previously she served as Administrative Support Associate and Adjunct Trumpet Instructor at Western Carolina University.

Madison earned her Doctor of Music and a Certificate in Arts Administration from Florida State University, Master of Music and a Certificate of Baroque Trumpet from the University of Kentucky, and Bachelor of Music from Texas A&M University–Commerce.

Madison serves as Contracts Coordinator for the National Trumpet Competition and interned with the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) in 2024. She has published multiple reviews in the ITG Journal, and an article in the Historic Brass Society Journal. Madison is proud to be a Greg Black Mouthpieces Endorsing Artist, an S. E. Shires Artist and a Hawkins Mute Affiliate.
