Minor in Music

Our music minor is a great way to nurture your passion for music while pursuing a different major. You can receive a music minor in conjunction with any undergraduate degree offered at Otterbein. Also, our ensembles are open to ALL students, regardless of major!

• The music minor is available to any student on campus, and encompasses basic experiences in theory, applied instruction, history, and ensembles, as well as a collection of elective courses with the MUSC prefix.
• Non-music majors may audition to study in any applied area within the department.
• Several music courses may be taken by non-music majors if a pre-requisite pattern is followed.
